Two buses collided Tuesday on a highway linking Marrakech and Agadir in Morocco, killing 23 people and injuring 63 others, 11 of them seriously, Morocco's official MAP news agency reported.
Moroccan officials said excessive speed appeared to be a factor in the accident on Tuesday morning, on national highway 8 about 20 kilometers (15 miles) from Marrakech, MAP said. It said two buses collided but gave no additional details.
