Myanmar official says explosion at rail station in Yangon, wounding 1

An explosion at a railway station in Myanmar's commercial capital injured one woman Sunday, a government official said. The official, who insisted on anonymity because he is not authorized to release information, said the explosion occurred at a ticketing office at the Yangon railway station at 2.00 p.m. The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear. He had no further details, and there were no immediate claims of responsibility. The military government did not blame any group. The explosion came after two blasts Friday elsewhere in the country killed two ethnic Karens.
