North Korea accused the United States on Saturday of conducting more than 2,200 spy flights over its territory in 2006.
US spy planes "committed more than 2,200 cases of aerial espionage against (North Korea) this year by mobilizing strategic and tactical reconnaissance planes," said the North's official Korean Central News Agency, citing an unidentified military source.
The North frequently accuses the United States of having a "hostile policy" toward it and of planning to attack. Washington has said it has no plans to invade.
