North Korea to expel South Koreans from resort on Sunday

North Korea says it will expel all South Koreans from its mountain resort starting Sunday amid mounting tension following the July 11 shooting death of a southern tourist there. The North's Korean Central News Agency quoted an unnamed military spokesman as saying the North will begin Sunday to eject all remaining South Korean workers and businessmen at Diamond Mountain resort. The North has said an army guard shot dead a 53-year-old South Korean housewife vacationing at the resort because she entered a restricted military area and ignored a warning to stop. South Korea suspended its decade-old mountain tour program in response.
