Norwegian police stop fights at pro-Israel rally

A pro-Israel rally in the Norwegian capital was interrupted by brief scuffles Monday when counter-demonstrators seized Israeli flags and tried to set them on fire, police said. Police were able to separate the two groups, and there were no arrests or injuries, Oslo police spokesman Finn Belle said. Some 200 demonstrators rallied in support of Israel and to protest what they said was an anti-Israeli bias in Norwegian media coverage of the conflict in Lebanon.
