Pakistan security forces arrested three suspected terrorists and seized suicide jackets and explosives in Lahore on Thursday, three days after two suicide bombers attacked a naval college in the eastern Pakistan city, police said.
Lahore police Chief Malik Iqbal said the suspects were arrested by police and intelligence agents after they arrived on a bus from the tribal area bordering Afghanistan.
Police seized four suicide jackets, 50 kilograms of explosives and other bomb-making materials that the three men were carrying in their luggage, Iqbal told a news conference.
During questioning, the men - all Pakistanis - said they belonged to a "terrorist organization," Iqbal said.
