Pakistan: Two killed ahead of anti-Musharraf rally

Gunmen riding on a motorcycle shot and killed two of the organizers of a rally for Pakistan's suspended chief justice taking place later Saturday, police said. The slain men were from the opposition party of exiled Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and were actively involved in making arrangements to greet Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry, whose suspension by President Gen. Pervez Musharraf since March 9 has caused a political crisis in the country. It was unclear who was behind the slaying of Asghar Ali, 35, and Jahan Zeb, 25, and the Karachi police chief, Azhar Faruqi, said the investigation was ongoing.
