Report: Earthquake in China leaves 5 people dead

A magnitude 5.7 earthquake shook part of central China on Saturday, killing at least five people, state media and an official said. The official Xinhua News Agency said the quake happened at 8:49 a.m., with the epicenter in central Jiangxi province's Ruichang city. An official with the State Seismological Bureau who refused to give her name said that two people had been killed. She gave no further details.
