Report: Official death toll from China quake rises to 14,866

The official death toll from a powerful earthquake in central China rose to 14,866.
The Xinhua News Agency reported the higher number Wednesday, two days after the magnitude 7.9 quake hit central China.
It was not clear if the official number included all the dead discovered in hard-to-reach mountain villages at the earthquake's epicenter.
