Rice apologizes to Obama for State Dept. peek into his passport file

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has apologized to Senator Barack Obama for an incident in which State Department contractors unnecessarily reviewed his passport file.
The State Department said officials at the Justice Department were monitoring the State Department's internal investigation into whether three contract workers had a political motive for looking at Obama's file.
