Roadside bomb wounds 2 officers, 1 bystander in southwest Pakistan

Police say a roadside bomb has injured two police officers and a civilian in southwestern Pakistan. The bomb exploded near a bridge Friday as a police patrol was passing through Khuzdar. The town lies about 330 kilometers south of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province. Police chief Hamid Shakeel says the wounded are in stable condition. The officers' vehicle was damaged as well. The bridge remained intact.
