The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Friday that Moscow would shortly provide the Palestinians with financial aid.
The statement came following a telephone conversation between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
Earlier this week, Lavrov claimed that the American and European decision to cut direct aid to the PA was "a mistake," Israel Radio reported.
