A senior al-Qaida figure was arrested by allied forces in Pakistan on Saturday.
It was hoped that the detainee could provide information regarding the location of other leaders of the terrorist organizations, including its leader Osama Bin-Laden.
ABC news reported that the information leading to his arrest came from the investigation into the organization's failed attempt to blow up 10 airliners departing from Great Britain this week.
