Students protest Bush's upcoming Indonesia visit

Students protested in five Indonesian towns and cities Monday against an upcoming visit by US President George W. Bush to the world's most populous Muslim nation, witnesses and news reports said. "Bush should be treated like a war criminal because of his actions in Iraq and Afghanistan," protester Hussein Hasan told El-Shinta radio from Bogor, just south of Jakarta. "We call on the Indonesian government to cancel the visit." Bush is scheduled to meet Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in Bogor during his one-day trip to Indonesia on Nov. 20 on the way back from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Vietnam.
