Train derailed in southern Greece, 1 hurt

A train carrying 48 passengers and crew derailed near this southern city early Saturday, slightly injuring one woman, authorities said. Police and monopoly rail operator Hellenic Railways, or OSE, said the locomotive and two cars came off the tracks, on the service from Athens to the southern city of Kalamata. The passenger was injured by falling luggage. State-run OSE said it was investigating the cause of the incident.
