Two bombs explode near Pakistan's capital, at least 15 dead

A powerful bomb ripped through a bus carrying government employees while another went off in a commercial district near Pakistan's capital Tuesday, killing at least 15 people and injuring several others, police and army spokesmen said. The first bomb exploded on a bus traveling through Rawalpindi, a city near Islamabad, killing at least 10 people, army spokesman Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad said. He provided no further details. A second bomb went off in one of Rawalpindi's commercial districts, killing at least five people, said Mohammed Afzal, an area police official.
