The chief US envoy at North Korean nuclear disarmament talks predicted "a quickening pace" in the stalled negotiations in coming weeks. Christopher Hill did not say exactly when North Korea would hand over a long-awaited full nuclear declaration that has bogged down the six-nation talks. But he expressed optimism that the North will provide the promised list. Hill was speaking to reporters on Monday after meeting at the State Department with his South Korean and Japanese counterparts. He said a meeting among the six nations at the talks would happen soon after the North handed over its declaration.
