The US would not object to a peaceful Jordanian nuclear program, Army Radio reported on Friday night.
State Department spokesman Tom Casey said that Jordan fulfilled all demands of international nuclear treatiesto which it is a signatory.
Casey said the US government would discuss a peaceful nuclear energy program if the Jordanian government were to consider one.
