Iran continues search for missing American, denies travel request
Iran said Sunday that it was continuing to look for an American who allegedly disappeared in the country earlier this year but had refused a request by the Swiss Embassy to travel to the site where he vanished.
Robert Levinson, was last seen March 8 on Kish Island, a resort off the southern coast of Iran, and Tehran has repeatedly said it has no information on his whereabouts.
"Iranian forces are still looking for a trace of him," said Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini during his weekly press briefing.
