Talks between Iran and the European Union on a package of incentives designed to defuse the standoff over Tehran's nuclear program have been postponed, an Iranian official said.
No date was set for a resumption of negotiations, said the official, who asked not to be named because he was not authorized to speak to the press. He declined to immediately elaborate on the postponement, saying a subsequent government statement would clarify the reasons behind it.
