The United States overnight Friday slammed Iran’s earlier announcement of technological advances in its nuclear program, saying it proves Teheran’s “nefarious intentions.”StateDepartment spokesman P.J. Crowley made the statement hours after theIslamic Republic announced that it successfully tested a thirdgeneration of domestically built centrifuges, which, it claims, canaccelerate uranium enrichment by up to six times.
