Iran says it's ready to 'confront' new sanctions

Iran's official news agency quoted a government spokesman as saying that the country is "ready to confront sanctions" over its disputed nuclear program. The European Union on Friday tightened trade restrictions on Iran, and the West threatened a fourth round of sanctions over Teheran's refusal to halt uranium enrichment. Sunday's report quotes government spokesman Gholam Hossein Elham as saying Iran's nuclear policies will not change, and that the country will manage "under any circumstances."
