Israel to complain at UNSC over statement by Iranian official

The Foreign Ministry instructed the Israeli delegation to the United Nations, Monday, to submit an official complaint to the president of the United Nations Security Council (currently Panama's ambassador to the UN), asking him to publicly condemn Iran over the statement of the Revolutionary Guards' commander, General Muhammad Ali Jafari, who said "I am convinced that with every passing day Hizbullah's might is increasing and in the near future, we will witness the disappearance of this cancerous growth Israel by means of the Hizbullah fighters' radiation [therapy]." The complaint will protest Jafari's statement as expressing hope for the destruction of a fellow member state in the UN, as well as a statement which is anti-Semitic and expressing the worst kind of racism.
