J'lem officials: World won't accept nuclear Iran

Officials in Jerusalem said on Thursday that "the international community will not accept Iran's turning into a nuclear power, since the issue threatens the entire world and particularly the Middle East," Army Radio reported. Earlier in the day, a London research center reported that Iran was only two to three years away from acquiring a nuclear bomb. The organization, however, believed that the Iranian opposition was still in a position to halt Teheran's nuclear program. "There are signs that political pressure could foil the plan," the research center said.
