Iran's foreign minister said Wednesday that the escalating dispute over his country's nuclear program should be solved peacefully with the United States, which is pushing for a harder line against the Islamic Republic.
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki spoke at a news conference in Istanbul, as the UN's nuclear watchdog agency in Vienna, Austria, prepared to release a report expected to confirm that Iran was continuing uranium enrichment, despite international calls for its suspension.
