An Iranian helicopter belonging to the Revolutionary Guards crashed Saturday, Israel Radio reported.
Six of the men on board were killed and two others injured.
The chopper was conducting a mission near the north-western border of the Islamic Republic.
Reports varied whether the helicopter crashed because of stormy weather or if it had been shot from the ground.
