US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has said that the fact that a possible Israeli attack on Iran is being discussed shows how serious the Islamic nation's situation will be if it continues with its nuclear development plans, Army Radio reported Sunday evening.
Still, Rice said in an interview to be aired on Channel 10 that there was still "plenty of room for diplomacy."
"The sanctions that the UN Security Council recently imposed on Teheran may help, but they aren't enough," she said.
Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh also addressed the Iran issue on Sunday evening, saying that "Israel won't be able to exist for long with a nuclear Iran and Hamas-led Palestine."
