US envoy dismisses Iranian nuclear cooperation

A senior US envoy dismissed increased Iranian willingness to answer questions about its nuclear program as a smoke screen on Tuesday and said it would not prevent the UN Security Council from imposing additional sanctions on Teheran. "Iran is clearly trying to take the attention from its continued development of bomb-making capabilities, and I don't think the Security Council will be distracted," said Gregory L. Schulte, the chief US delegate to the International Atomic Energy Agency. "We are continuing to move forward with other members of the Security Council on a third resolution."
