Karmiel Police stopped a car driving erratically overnight Thursday and, to their amazement, found an 11-year-old boy sitting at the wheel.
One of the policemen, Erez Ziv, told Army Radio: "We were amazed when from our car we didn't see anyone behind the wheel. We saw a grown man sitting in the passenger seat but we couldn't see the driver in the car. I then approached the vehicle, opened the door and, to my great surprise, I saw that it was a small boy who had been driving whose dad was sitting next to him in the car."
The boy's father was arrested and told police he was teaching his son how to drive.
