12 injured, 1 infant critically, in car pile-up in the North

Twelve people were injured Tuesday, including a six-month-old baby and several children, in a multi-car pile-up in the North. The collision occurred on Highway 90 at the Yesud HaMa'ala junction, when a truck which was driving too close to the car in front collided with it, causing a four-vehicle pile-up. The infant, who was critically injured, was taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The others, who suffered from light injuries, were taken to Ziv Hospital in Safed. Traffic police took the truck driver into custody for questioning.
