130 people injured Monday in vehicle crashes

130 people were injured in vehicle-related incidents throughout the country Monday. Three people were seriously injured and five lightly injured in a collision between two cars that caused massive back-ups on Highway 443 between Modi'in and Jerusalem. According to findings from the initial investigation, an Israeli vehicle from the direction of Givat Ze'ev and a Palestinian vehicle coming from the direction of Modi'in collided at a busy intersection near Camp Ofer. In another collision, between a bus and a private vehicle near Kibbutz Merom Golan, one man was seriously injured and another two people were lightly injured.
