An unidentified assailant opened fire on a kiosk in the old city of Beersheba overnight Thursday, killing two youths and seriously wounding a third. According to the initial police investigation, the motive for the attack, which occurred on the city's Kerem Kayemet L'Yisrael Street, was most likely criminal. Eyewitnesses reported that the three youths entered the kiosk after being involved in fight in a nearby nightclub. The three were each hit with one bullet to the chest and a doctor, accompanying MDA paramedics, pronounced the two fatalities dead at the scene. The dead were identified later Friday as Eitan Eizmeilov, aged 16 and Roslan Kobeiv, aged 18. Also Friday, a 23-year-old man was moderately wounded when he was shot in Nesher. Police said that man was known to them, adding that the incident was a result of a feud between rival criminals, Israel Radio reported.
