A 21-year-old woman from the North was believed to have been gang-raped at a Kinneret beach, police reported on Sunday evening.
According to police, the woman went out with friends and met up with a group of young men, drank something that apparently contained a date-rape drug, and awoke the next morning in pain and with bruises all over her body.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment, where medical staff confirmed that she had been raped.
Police were investigating the incident.
