Three Israelis were wounded Friday in a shooting attack against a group of hikers near Neveh Tzuf, northwest of Ramallah. The five hikers were attacked by two masked terrorists who opened fire at them - seriously wounding one of the men. Two others suffered moderate and light wounds. The gunmen then fled the scene. The hikers were forced to wait for approximately 40 minutes for help to arrive as rescue forces had difficulties locating them. After finding the group, medical teams evacuated the casualties by helicopter to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer. IDF troops were sweeping the scene in search of the attackers. The army said it was unclear whether they had arrived on foot or by vehicle.
