4 year-old boy falls to his death in Tirat Carmel

A 4 year-old boy fell four stories to his death from a window in his family's apartment in Tirat Carmel Saturday, Israel Radio reported. Magen David Adom medics pronounced the child dead on the scene. Police had opened an investigation into the circumstances of the tragedy, and were checking if the child's parents had been negligent. Police said the boy climbed up onto his brother's bed and opened a window of the fourth storey apartment building that they said lacked security bars.
