5 petrol bombs hit Hadassah Hospital parking lot

Five firebombs were hurled by suspected Arab assailants at a Jerusalem parking lot near Hadassah University Hospital at Mount Scopus Wednesday night, in continuing low-level violence in the area, police said. There were no injuries or damages reported in the 9 p.m. attack, which came from the east Jerusalem village of Issawiya. Tensions have been running high in the neighborhood following last week's fatal police shooting of a local resident during a routine arrest that turned violent. The border policeman involved in the incident is expected to be indicted shortly after a justice ministry investigation determined that the shooting was not justified.
