53% of public would want elections if PM resigned

Slightly more than half the Israeli public would want to hold elections if Prime Minister Ehud Olmert were to resign, a Channel 2 poll revealed Monday evening. Twenty-three percent would prefer a new government, but the current Knesset, while 11% would want the government to remain intact.
