A 60-year-old female resident of Holon was moderately wounded on Wednesday during an attempted robbery in south Tel Aviv.
The woman was stabbed in the hand, when she fought off her assailant, who unsuccessfully tried to steal her handbag.
The attacker then fled the scene.
