Attorney General Menahem Mazuz was considering opening an investigation against Infrastructures Minister Binyamin Ben Eliezer over allegations that he helped bring about politically motivated appointments in the Israel Electric Company (IEC), Channel 10 reported Thursday evening.
Ben Eliezer, according to the report, was unaware of any foul play in his actions despite similar allegations raised against Kadima MK Tzahi Hanegbi in the past.
"I will change the way I acted," Ben Eliezer was quoted by Channel 10 as saying in response to the allegations.
