Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas held phone conversations Friday with American Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, asking them to pressure Israel to stop its Gaza air strikes.
The IAF has killed at least nine operatives since it began the strike Thursday.
