Opposition leader Bionyamin Netanyahu (Likud) said Monday following Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's meeting with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas that Israel was making "far-ranging" gestures towards the Palestinian without receiving anything in return, Israel Radio reported.
The gestures were not strengthening Abbas, but would effectively weaken Israel's security, Netnayahu said.
