The mother of the young Russian immigrant under arrest for allegedly serving as an accomplice to Adwan Yihya Farhan expressed shock Tuesday that her daughter was involved in any criminal wrongdoing. "She is a good girl," the mother said. "I want to see her home." The young woman, a resident of Tiberias, married suspected serial killer Yihye Farhan, 32, when she was 16 and had converted to Islam. Farhan had previously been married to a Beduin woman, with whom he has three children. "She loved him very much, and would do everything for him," the girl's mother said. "She obeyed him." She said she had repeatedly urged her daughter to leave Farhan, because she felt he was a dangerous criminal, and that recently the couple had separated. The young woman, who is suspected of luring Dana Bennet into the suspect's car six years ago, was arrested several weeks ago. The mother said she had no idea her daughter was apprehended until she heard about it from a friend of her daughter. Then she thought that her daughter had stolen something. "To do such a thing? God forbid," she said.
