Activists protest refugees' transfer to Ketziot

Several human rights activists on Sunday protested the police plan to transfer dozens of Sudanese refugees from various locations around the country to a Ketziot Prison bungalow and prison cells. Police are intending to eventually move the refugees from the prison to a campsite currently being erected next to the jail. The protest began at 11 p.m. at the Rose Garden near the Knesset and the activists were planning to prevent police from reaching the refugees to transfer them to Ketziot.
