Adam: Sending IDF to fight before cease-fire is OK
By JPOST.COM STAFF
OC Northern Commander Maj.-Gen. Udi Adam said on Saturday that sending soldiers into enemy territory before the cease-fire goes into effect was worth the risk.
"If the cease-fire does not go into effect, what then?" he asked, indicating that the IDF must be prepared for all possibilities.
The IDF was expanding its military presence in Lebanon on Saturday, in an attempt to take control of all areas between the Israeli border and the Litani River.
