Judge Osnat Alon-Laufer informed Chief Justice Aharon Barak on Tuesday that she intends to resign.
Alon-Laufer, who will soon be indicted for illegally obtaining cellular call listings of her spouse, said her decision to retire stemmed from her desire to "maintian the dignity of the judicial system."
