Organized crime boss Ya'acov Abergil was released on Thursday to house arrest for five days under restricting conditions.
Abergil was arrested on March 13 on suspicion of assisting in the death of Yoni Alzam, the prisoner who died of poisoning in his cell hours before he was supposed to testify at a murder trial.
Detectives were continuing their investigations.
