Another truce violation: Palestinians fire mortar shell at w. Negev

The fragile cease-fire between Israel and Hamas was again broken by Palestinians on Tuesday afternoon, when a mortar shell fired from the Gaza Strip landed in the Eshkol region. No casualties or damage were reported in the attack. Earlier Tuesday, Defense Minister Ehud Barak agreed to reopen the crossings in order to allow the transfer of goods and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, despite his decision Monday to close the crossings due to previous mortar fire.
