Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin announced at a press conference on Thursday that anti-Sharon graffiti was found scribbled in the woman's bathroom outside the Knesset plenum last Monday, November 7. Among the things written were, "Evacuation criminals to trial," and "We killed Rabin, we will kill Sharon too." The prime minister was in the building at the time, while Knesset security officials said that the vandals had either come from outside and had apparently taken advantage of special entrance passes into the building, or the vandals were Knesset staff members who work there on a permanent basis. Rivlin said that the news of the vandalism was kept a secret until now in order to help the police investigation.
