The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court on Tuesday began trying businessman David Appel, who was indicted for bribing public officials, including Benny Regev, mayor of Lod.
Appel pled not guilty, however, the judge's required him to submit a detailed written plea by July, Israel Radio reported.
