The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced an Arab-Israeli to 16 years in prison for the attempted kidnapping of an IDF soldier.
The defendant had planned to turn the soldier over to Hamas in Ramallah, and the court therefore judged the case as an attempted murder, Channel 7 reported.
